Raveneaux Country Club to Host Golf Tournament

Houston, TX – August 20, 2019 – Raveneaux Country Club will be hosting the 2019 HeartSupport 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the HeartSupport foundation on Monday September 16, 2019 beginning with a 1:00 PM shotgun and registration is at 12 PM. The charity tournament will seek to raise money which will aid in mental health and suicide prevention, in addition hosting events throughout the year allowing teens to come together for a better way. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death between the ages of 10 to 35. HeartSupport provides counseling online for the ones hurting and saves lives.

HeartSupport was founded by Jake Luhrs the lead singer of Grammy-nominated metal band, August Burns Red. After seeing his fans struggling through addiction, depression, and suicide ideation, he prayed one evening for a way to help his fans and people around the world find hope and faith. The answer to that prayer was HeartSupport.

The 2019 HeartSupport  1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be featuring a “Hole in One” prize where participants can vie for the Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar prize and a chance to win a 2019 Cadillac CTS-V. All participants will receive a $100 Visa gift card courtesy of Tom Peacock Cadillac.

In addition to other games, entertainment, and contests for various prizes, participate in a Golf ball launcher game with Stik- it Golf. Visitors are also encouraged to enjoy free swag bags from select vendors that will be positioned throughout the club offering gifts from local shops, eateries, and service providers.

Registration fee of $150 includes a full day of golf, entertainment, and dinner.
